Xbox Game Pass Title ‘Stalker 2’ Runs At 60FPS On Series X
And it’s apparently “shaping up very well”

Ever since we first locked eyes on Stalker 2 and its atmospheric open world, we’ve thought it a bit of a graphical showpiece for Xbox – but that doesn’t mean that the open-world title isn’t going to be running at high frame rates.
As part of Gamescom 2024, GSC Game World has a playable demo for its upcoming shooter, and we’re starting to hear good reports on the shape of the game as it nears its November launch. According to John Linemann of Digital Foundry, the game is running at 60FPS on Xbox Series X – and that’s the only performance option available.
The DF host also says that the team has both PC and Xbox Series X versions running at the event, with Microsoft’s console devkit “pumping out heat” to maintain 60FPS gameplay in Stalker 2. We know that John & co. have plenty of technical knowhow, so we have faith that Stalker 2 will turn out great in this regard.
It’s been a long journey for the Ukrainian developer, but the team is working hard to bring Stalker 2 to Xbox Game Pass players on November 20th, 2024.
