Xbox Game Pass’s PowerWash Simulator Gets Even Weirder With New Shrek Crossover
“Restore Shrekâs Swamp to its former glory”
The PowerWash Simulator devs have just revealed their next crossover DLC, and this game’s post-launch support is getting weirder and wackier by the minute. The team’s next collaboration, which will be a paid DLC pack, features everyone’s favourite green ogre (probably) – Shrek.
Yep, players will be able to explore Shrek’s filthy old swamp, spraying it down and cleaning it up to look sparkly new – or at least, as close to that as is ogrely possible. We’ve thrown the expansion’s brief teaser trailer up above, and here are the pack’s main locations along with some early screenshots:
Shrekâs Swamp – Restore Shrekâs Swamp to its former *ahem* glory after being covered in glittery goop in this super-satisfying, high-contrast clean-up. You can even go inside his home, and marvel at the incredible attention to detail paid to making it feel authentic to the movies. Well, after youâve cleaned up all the gunk, of course.
Duloc – In Duloc, youâll discover a collection of art left behind by some disgruntled (but artistically gifted) knights.
Fairy Godmotherâs Potion Factory – This iconic location from Shrek 2 has been meticulously recreated, complete with working machines. Itâs down to you to de-gunk them, you wouldnât want to gum up the inner workings of the Fairy Godmotherâs potion empire, would you?
Dragonâs Lair – This glittering hoard is not so shiny anymore â cue your arrival! As you clean it, youâll discover more than just gold and gems – youâll also reveal some tasty details for fans of the Shrek universe.
Hanselâs Honeymoon Hideaway – This candy-coated cottage has seen better days. Bring it back to its gingerbread glory in this deliciously detailed job.
The Shrek Special Pack follows previous Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy and SpongeBob expansions for PowerWash Sim, and it launches October 10th on all platforms. While this one will be a premium DLC add-on, the base game is still on Xbox Game Pass at the time of writing. Get stuck in, Shrek fans!
