Yikes! Joe Budden Slams Yung Miami’s Solo Career After Her Kiki Over His Gold Plaque (VIDEO)

Joe Budden seemingly hinted he’d do some “laughing” at Yung Miami on his podcast after she initiated a shady kiki. And chileeee, he delivered! He took multiple jabs at Miami’s solo career and publicly sided with JT amid the City Girls’ split.

Joe Says Yung Miami’s Music Doesn’t Compare To Her Female Rap Peers
Joe Budden began his clapback by explaining that laughter is “a luxury” and  “privilege” and that Miami would “soon” realize it.

“While I’m happy that Caresha is able to laugh after a difficult year, I am a little surprised that she has found enough time to laugh…” Joe said, adding that he wasn’t going to call Miami out of her name or be disrespectful. Instead, he wanted to keep his clapback about her solo music career and not her accomplishments as a City Girl.

“If Complex were to do a list of where all the female rappers rate, Caresha, you would be last on the list because your record label today is saying to you that they’re not seeing any growth,” Budden said. “Self-admittedly, the only talent you have possessed in recent years is providing emotion, yet you’re at a standstill. I’m not talking City Girls, I’m talking you. And that’s my problem when it comes to current, modern acts and the caricatures that you are. Like, I view you as a science project…”

Again, Budden clarified that his comments were regarding Miami alone, not the City Girls. “…and I’m on JT’s side in the breakup,” Joey shared.

What Happened Between These Two?
Budden’s smoke for Miami in his latest podcast release came after she sparked a lil’ back-and-forth on X (formerly Twitter). Earlier this week, she responded to a video of him receiving a gold plaque for ‘Pump It Up’ with laughing emojis. The honor came 21 years after the song’s release.

Anyways, Miami’s laughing mood caused Budden to imply it’d be “too easy” to roast the former City Girl.  She clapped back, saying she was laughing in the same way he had laughed at her in the past, particularly after her emotional ‘Caresha Please’ debut. Swipe below for the recap.

Budden Sides With JT Over Miami In City Girls’ Split
As mentioned during his rant against Miami, Budden admitted that he’s with JT on their split. He then complimented her for her poise during her interview on his podcast, released in late July.

“[JT] came up here, hair flowing. Like stop for a minute, I ain’t stupid. I gotta read between the lines of some of the social media sh*t. JT came up here skin glowing, face glowing, knee high boots with a staff that didn’t look cheap.”

Budden added that JT came into the interview “talking that talk” with her music circulating.

“And everybody up here absolutely loved her. Here’s the kicker: JT actually has a n***a with all the money in the world…and still when the odds were against her she got to it. She got to work,” Budden said.

He added that she kept it 100 about going “back to the drawing board” and finding herself in her music. Budden continued, again, jabbing at Miami: “I don’t think Caresha has the time to laugh when it appears that she is going through an identity crisis.”

“I’m very familiar with the b****es that think they’ve bloomed into who they’ve consumed. You was running around here and you gave JT your a** to kiss. You sat there with Saucy Santana, who even raps better than yo a** and gave JT your a** to kiss,” Joe said, adding that Miami gave up on the City Girls and talked bigger than she is.
