It led Kisner, who was part of the US team alongside friend Spieth for their 2017 and 2022 Presidents Cup wins, to comment on his indecisiveness.
On what was his first time providing analysis for NBC, the 39-year-old said: “I’m watching this distance.
“This is always the distance I make him putt when we play matches because you never know what you’re going to get.
“He’s spent more time on this 3-footer than he does on 25-footers.

“If I was going to help him, I’d tell him to speed it up a little bit on these and just knock it in. He knows how to make these.”
Spieth eventually missed his putt, as he mumbled to caddie Michael Greller about the direction of wind.
Kisner then added: “That’s three feet, Jordan. Just knock it in, bud. 99 per cent on Tour.”
The three-time Major winner, who finished in third place in the opening tournament of the PGA season, was asked about Kisner’s comments during an appearance on SiriusXM.

He remarked: “He actually came up and told me the shots he was taking at me while I was warming up on Sunday, which is like 101, don’t do that.

Though Spieth was quick to point out that it’s all good between the pair, as he knew he’d ‘be on the receiving end of some with Kis, and I know it’s just love from him’.
What is most shocking of all to Spieth though is finding out that Kisner is a lot younger than he thought he was.
After being told he is 39, the American remarked: “That is shocking to me. OK, I’m way off in my head.”
Asked what age he thought Kisner was, he simply stated: “Definitely at least in his mid-40s.”
